Hi all yet another newbie from tidyvag i noticed your post so thought i would come and sign up, I have a mk2 golf gti which i bought at a bargain price of just £200 about 7 months ago with an electrical problem which i fixed in a weekend and only cost me £15 for a loom to replace the old one. Since then i have not done alot to it as i am a full time student studying motorsport engineering at oxford and my car is back in poole plus the funds just are not there. I have however had a full stainless system on there and receipts for a £1200 engine rebuild last year so the car is running like brand new. i have also just purchased some german plates for it that will be here in the next week.

It is a very hard course it has the highest drop out rate in the university but it has its moments i guess we get serious discounts on track days at silverstone and stuff so yeah it is quite fun.
