I'm finding myself buying all the vehicles I never dreamed I would actually own.

Here is my latest purchase:

A 1967 HIGHROOF AMBULANCE

Always wanted one since the first ever time I saw one at a show a few years ago now.

These are pretty rare, this perticular one is quite special due to the factory fitted windows, the rear ones on each side are pop outs.

It needs a bit of work but for the stupidly cheap price I paid it will never owe ...

Okay... here's a sneaky spy shot of the new car.

It's a '96 M3 Evo saloon - silver, black leather, standard rims and ride height (soon to change when the Jetta sells!).

It's been converted from a 6-speed to a 5-speed in its' lifetime (6spd boxes are notoriously fragile)... it's got FSH, every single MOT from new and two full folders of receipts and BMW service data sheets. And, the body work, apart from one small scuff, is in amazing condition for its' age. I'm well chuffed with it.

This was ear-marked for the Jetta, but as I'm selling it, I no longer require this.

The leather is in extremely good condition, as you can see from the pics. I replaced the drivers seat lower foam from a perfect passenger seat, so it's back to being near perfect again. There is a slight wear mark, but nothing very much.

I want £450 for the set.

Preface

The

following document has been produced to give relatively concise

information on lowering a type 2 VW. Safety precautions in the lifting

of vehicles or removal of components are not to be discussed, as it is

felt common sense prevails.

Introduction

The VW Type 2 suspension is torsional based,

torsion can be thought of as the angular stiffness of metal along its

axis. What this means is that suspension is derived from the 'springy'

properties of metal. The rear suspension ...

The polishing bit is pretty easy, basically using a dremmel or similar

you just need to smooth out all the little lumps and bumps in the inlet

One of the main areas

to hit is the lump around the valve stems as you look down into the

head inlet. I always think it looks and feels a bit like an adams

apple. So you need to make that man a lady and get rid of the adams

apple!

so many different ways that once you throw in the human factor you will

usually end up with a different and unique motor every time.

I'm selling all of my VW stash... and in it is this AWESOME Momo V35 steering wheel and boss for a late Mk2/Mk3 fitment.

I bought it to fit into the Jetta, but with me selling it, I no longer need it.

It's yours for £75 + P&P, including the boss. You're more than welcome to come and pick it up yourself though!

You can run it with the centre pad, or remove it so you can run without (you then need to then take the front alloy pad-mounting ring off).

Due to a change in plans, I'm putting my rare 7.5x17" Borbet C's up for sale.

They are a 4x100 stud pattern and they are ET35. They will bolt straight on to any Mk2 Golf/Jetta without the need for any modification. They are wrapped in extremely good 185/35/17's with a really nice amount of stretch.

I've had them professionally straightened, stripped and then powdercoated in standard silver. They are as new... no word of a lie.

They've not seen the road since I've had this done.

After a lot of crap last year, ive finally got round to starting off the work on my Oaky.

Bought off Andrew Terry last year and originally was going to keep as is, but, as with the rest of ya - its kinda hard to do that.

Ive put a couple of pics of it as it was when i first got her and once the daylight comes tomorrow ill get some as she is now, which isnt really a great deal different apart from a wheel swap....
