Project "Longback" Updated 24.03

Post by pocket-rocket on Fri Mar 07, 2008 6:37 pm

Right then, as some of you know already, about a month ago I decidied to sell my Toyota Celica GT4. I didn't realy want to as I loved it, the power, the looks of it but financially for me it was better off that way.

So, the brother of a lad I work with was selling his Mk3 Golf as he was getting a company car. The price was right and the car is in very good condition so I snapped it up!

It's an N reg Mk 3 Golf Estate 1.8 Cl with almost 110k on the clock when I bought it, starts and runs a treat so I'm well chuffed with it!

It originally didn't come with a front valance so got on eBay and ordered a VR front valance for it. Also, got an aerial blanker from work for the n/s/f wing and fitted an electric receiver instead!

Plans: well I've got some wheels on order for it at the mo, also coilovers will be coming and waiting for smoked front indicators/ reflectors and also smoked side repeaters which will be coming, also from eBay, hopefully early part of next week along with the sound system Twisted Evil

I would appreciate any comments or critisism please, all welcome!!!

James.

Yeah, no worries fella.

I might have to ask you to get me a single G60 rim dude. Wink

Always fancied 'doing' an estate... is this a first for the Cult? Cool.
