My 2002 VW Lupo 1.0E (and proud)...NEW Porsche 911 seats :D

Post by xXx-Amy-xXx on Thu Feb 18, 2010 10:59 am

Thanks for taking a look at my progress thread...
My car is a 2002 VW Lupo 1.0E I have had it since December 2008 and I am in much love with it! I didn;t think I would end up adding any modifactions to the car, but some things don't last so where do I start?
Were does anyone start? Exhaust, smoothing, coulour codding, wheels, painted interior? Anywere?
My first Modifaction (if you can call it one) was painting my roof and wingmirrors both is White... I was happy with the work they had done at Elite Bodyworks. And would go to them in the future. Also I don't know why I did it but a White sunstrip (I know bad move).

Heading to York for Fast-N-Modded paintballing... My car had taken a large bang to the wingmirror . At this point I didn't think nothing to it but then, looking at it had a large crack right down it. Other then getting a new one and respraying it, I then taken the 1" squae Black stickers to it creating my own design and it was pretty tricky. But I am very happy with it.

My small effect didn't stop there... Then came the roof and silly stickers I picked up out of Max Power . The roof square's are 6" square, not to big and nor too small. The flowers also (I love them)

I had steel wheels for a long time before I got these one's on... Borbet T's 14" 7J front, 8J rear on streched tyres. Unfortually I didn't have these long and was back to my steel wheels. I had taken my car on trach during the life of the Borbet T's, wrecked the tyres... but on a up I had fun in my 1.0 on the track with Evo's

Unhappy with my rear bumper I had smoothed... I then bought a new one and started chopping it up, it did look bad until it came into shape. My idea behind this was to go smooth all over so I thought of smoothing the rear number plate off, but were was I going to put it so it became actually legal without it being in my rear window with no numberplate lights? I chopped the recess into bits and created a smaller numberplate, looked rather smooth bit still actually legal, as I moulded a rear light into this too.

The rear bumper never did get put onto the car until during the ice, my car went sking and made love to the front end of a parked Astra. And this is when there is an excuse to smooth isnt it?
Work did being to transforn the Lupo...

This is were I am with progress today... Just got some rear pop-out windows arrived today so will be putting them of after the respray.
Welcome to comment good, bad or ugly.

Thanks Amy x

The post came today... with it was 2 15mm 4x100 - 5x130 VW - Porsche adapters getting them at a bargin prive from the fellow at Club Lupo
I only ordered 2 as I was willing to try the porsche 928 (7slots) 16" on my Lupo...
Pics added:

Purchsing a "Bonnet Bra" from the "Club Lupo" forum too... Havn't recived this in the post just yet, but I will most likely be useing this for show purpose only and moterway distances.

I will be gettin some pictures I have taken of the Porsche 928 polished up on my car with the adapters I had got through the post... By a nice postman  Comeing ASAP
Comment always welcome on my thread!
