MK2 8v GTI Capri Green

Post by MalC on Tue Feb 17, 2009 1:25 pm

Well as some of you know I bought this coming up to a year ago from an advert off here for something to mess about with !!!!

First off changed the seats and door cards as the others were a little tired and I didnt like the pattern geek

It needed a PAS rack so that was sorted and then found that the head gasket had also gone so......

Head is back on but didnt get a pic lol!

Have also changed springs/shocks, rear lights, steering wheel, headlights........its been slow going but getting there now Shocked

Baz did the headgasket... Mal just stood and watched.

(kidding)

I remember when I had to do a head-gasket on one of my Mk2 8v's... it was a nightmare getting the downpipe off the manifold!

Looks like a really nice motor. First time I've seen any decent pics of it!

Looks really tidy. I love them in Capri Green too and you don't see many of them.
