after getting rid of the passat ,ive missed having a vw so have bought this of pistonheads ,
collecting it on sunday ,560mile round trip but its worth it
bargin price but needs the head gasket doing and tax and test ,but that doesnt bother me as its not a daily

also sorted some wheels out , and collecting them on sunday as they are on the way to get the golf

Now then Grafton,that looks like a very mint mk2 or has it had a re spray,will look awesome slammed on the minilites,should get it valeted i recon it needs it.

right spent a bit of time tonight stripping the head off , the bottom end is shot so will be fitting either a 1.6 or 1.8 8v

Looks like a good little project. Wheels will look ace when it's on its arse!

I bet the bottoms of the front & rear arches aren't as good as first thought... pictures do tend to hide stuff like that.

Some elbow grease and a few choice mods and you'll be on to a winner!

no they dont fit them , but can get it done cheap for you

u pull it is on sutton fields industrial estate york , 13-14inch £5plus vat , 14-16 £6 plus vat ,,,17 and above £10 plus vat i think
worth a look as theres loads of new ones from spare wheels etc

its been a cheap day today
coilovers £20 ,need the threads cleaning to adjust them but should take to much
complete head gasket set and timing belt ..............£free

bit of back to black works well
also got some wobble bolts to fit the wheels

you wont have to wait long they are getting fitted tomorrow , just spent the night freeing them off and cleaning them up

spent tonight fitting the coilovers , rough setup even before fitting them is low but tomorrow its going lower
