opps just won a second engine , 1.6 with a 1.8 gt Scirocco Webber carb and k&n air .
comes with a 1.8l8v gti gearbox that had a rebuild 10,000miles ago
and a Vibra-Technics race mount for the front

i would love to take it to ud ,but ive still got the engine to sort ,bit of body work, tax and test and insurance so wont be dome in time

well spent most day wednesday going from hull to essex then on to leichestshire then back home ,with two engines in my boot

then today took the old 1.3 out and fitted the mk1 gti 1.6 engine/1.8 weber carb/1.8gti gearbox




my new 12inch wheel came today as well, just need to get a classic boss kit

right time for a update
gti engine all done ,up and running
half tinted rear lights
wheel and boss sorted and fitted
new leather gear gaitor ,7ball gear knob
badgeless grill
crystal clear head lights
cleat indicators and repeaters
few window stickers
new lock set and handles
armour door plates
bucket seats , going to retrim them ,including the rear bench and door cards
then got a spare alloy that turned into 7 more spares




larger dished rears





and tonight ive got some chrome small bumpers
