Loving this! I remember seeing it at ED38 last year... Smile

All it needs is coilovers and it'll be complete in my eyes!

Really liking this bud. A healthy slam and it will totally rock!

Will it be rolling at the Sunday meet?

...or as bad as me!

Will look cool when it's done... it already does now!

There's some really cool period trick bits on this car. Rach loves it.

audrey the audi has broken, the clutch has been on its way out for a bit but has finally let go(was hoping it would hang on till the engine swop). So she is of to uncle glen(serviced all my cars except the s3 as he took one look and told me no chance!) to be mended over the next feel days ,pleased clutch kits are as cheap as chips was thinking about fitting it myself(shock horror getting my hands dirty!) but because of how busy i am at work i dont have time(13/14 hour days killing me at mo,thought there was a credit crunch too???).
anyway she will be living again soon, this little car is my favourite car ive owned so theres a good chance shes staying put cause audrey now is family!!!!!

Shame the clutch has gone before intended, but it's good that it's a relatively cheap fix. You knew it was going when you first got the old girl... it was just a matter of time.

Just think how good it will feel when it's fixed!

Just the Clio to sort and move on now then... Wink

I know where there's a nice sorted Mk3 8v with newly fitted Weitec suspension, top mounts, etc with your name on it... Wink

Smart, clean, nice and reliable... everything you need to compliment Audrey's driving experience.

the lastest problem to beset the little audi fake is the exhaust has fell off! it has crack and broken on the middle section on my way home from work thursday. luckily it is welderable so yesterday was welded and sleaved as a temp measure until a stainless steel one is fitted. i really must stop using this car everyday as its not doing her any good but its hard when a car makes you smile everytime you drive it

finally i have update audreys little story! its been a while and its nothing exciting really, i have serviced her myself! yes finally got my hands dirty!

she had oils and lilters changed and a good general check over

this was done at the end of jan!
will she was being serviced it was noticed the rocker cover gasket was leaking so a new one was ordered and it was replaced a few days later!

this was a very easy job one i did on my first car( a 84 1043 cc bread van polo)
finally this week audreys exhaust was finally replaced ,had to us a mk2 polo system but it seems to just about fit so now she no longer sounds like a tractor!

ive had alot of thought about selling audrey(i love the car its ace but personal reasons mean i must have one car) and im still not sure what to do i hope i can keep her and carry on the fun but can i use a 32 year old car as a daily???????
